Trump: Putin has a lot of magic.

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said that “our policy is not to take the opinion of people who praise Russian President Vladimir Putin,” after former President Donald Trump praised him.
Psaki said in a press briefing at the White House: “Policy, we try not to take the opinion of anyone who praises President Putin and his military strategies, which I believe happened here and is open to lifting sanctions related to the seizure of areas in Crimea, or he said in Sometimes for the G7 leaders, Crimea is part of Russia, even if he was an ex-president.”

She added, according to “Russia Today”, “Therefore, there is a different tactic and a different direction, and this is perhaps the reason why President (Joe) Biden, and not his predecessor, was able to mobilize the world and the international community to take steps against Russia’s aggression.”
Trump described President Putin’s decision to recognize the independence of the Luhansk and Donetsk republics from Ukraine as a “genius”, adding: “This man (Putin) is very smart… I knew Putin well. I dealt with him well. I liked him and liked him. His character is strong, he has a lot of charm and a lot of pride, but he also loves his country.”
