Will Putin cut marine internet cables and enter the world in complete darkness?!

Investigator and information security expert Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Cyberkov Electronic Security Company, revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin may direct submarines to cut offshore internet cables in response to the restrictions being exercised against Russia via the internet.

Al-Ali criticized what he described as the insane behavior of technology companies, including Twitter’s ban on opening accounts from Russia, Google and YouTube stopping all Russian accounts, NameCheap canceling Russian accounts, the possibility of ICAAN deleting RU domains and stopping Apple’s stores, wondering: “Does Putin cut marine internet cables and enter the world in total darkness?”!”.

He said that if the Russian submarines cut the submarine internet cables in response to isolating Russia in this way, the entire world would be shaken by all its sectors, financial, civil and military.

And he indicated that Russia will be the least affected, because all its cables and communications are on land within its territory, and that it established its own internet network years ago!

Al-Ali wrote in two successive tweets:

The crazy behavior of tech companies makes you wonder, do these people have brains?

Twitter prevents opening accounts from Russia, Google and YouTube stop all Russian accounts, NameCheap cancels Russian accounts, ICAAN may delete RU domains and Apple stop its stores!

Will Putin cut offshore internet cables and enter the world in complete darkness?

If the Russian submarines cut off the maritime internet cables in response to Russia’s isolation in this arrogant way, the entire world will be shaken in all its financial, civil and military sectors, and Moscow will be the least affected, as all its cables and communications are on land within its territory, and it established its own internet network years ago!
