Russia supports North Korea : We understand its decision to resume missile launches

Russia understands North Korea’s decision to resume frequent missile launches and does not see any preconditions for the resumption of denuclearization talks, the RIA news agency quoted a Russian Foreign Ministry official as saying on Tuesday.

North Korea tested a record number of missiles last January, including its largest since 2017, and launched a ballistic missile into the sea in a resumption of weapons tests in late February. And launched another missile last Saturday.

Director of the Department of International Organizations in the Russian Foreign Ministry Pyotr Ilyichev said he did not see any preconditions for the resumption of North Korea’s denuclearization talks because Washington chose to continue the path of imposing sanctions against Pyongyang.
